PARKS SENSEI

Esta Página En Español.

Parks Sensei (godan) is one of the two chief instructors of Seikikai in America. He is one of only two personal students to Kurita Sensei. Mr. Parks and Mr. Kangas are the only representatives of Seikikai outside of Japan. Both Parks Sensei and Kangas Sensei lived in Japan as uchideshi (apprentices) to Kurita Sensei in order to be trained in the same way that OSensei trained Kurita Sensei himself. Parks and Kangas Sensei also learned the concepts of Aikiken and Aikijo as taught to Mr. Kurita by the founder of Aikido, Mr. Ueshiba. Upon mastering these concepts, Mr. Kurita elected to initiate his American Instructors into the deepest understanding of the Japanese sword by teaching them the Seiki Ryu style.
